WHITE MUSTARD
WHITE MUSTARD – Sinapis alba L.

This is an annual crucifer with a taproot and upright stalk about 1 metre tall.
It is grown for green manure, as fodder.
As an industrial crop, it is grown after the weeding stage and it takes the place of common cereals. It is sown in April in rows 30cm apart, using about 35kg of seed per hectare.
Nematicide effect
Production per hectare: about 15-20 quintals (100kg) of seeds.
