COCK’S-FOOT – Dactylis glomerata

A caespitose, perennial grass between 50 and 130cm tall, resistant to the cold, drought and summer heat, if not excessive. It benefits from the moisture and fertility of the soil and thus has no special requirements.
It grows well in a wide range of soil types, provided the soil is not shallow, sandy or stagnant.
Its production and vitality are remarkable. It also provides excellent forage as a pasture plant. It has an early flowering stage.
