SAINFOIN
SAINFOIN – Onobrychis viciifolia
Leguminosae
This is a regenerative, perennial legume with a robust taproot system. It prefers hot and dry climates, thin and craggy calcareous soil as well as clay soil with permeable subsoil.
It is normally grown for two years and it is followed by wheat and oats.
