BERMUDA GRASS
BERMUDA GRASS
Turf Seeds – Macrotherms
This is a perennial, rhizomatous and stoloniferous plant, with thin leaves; it adapts to all types of soil, even saline types. It is very resistant to drought and therefore forms a bright green turf during the summer season. The plant goes into a dorment state if the temperature falls below 10°C.
It expands rapidly and forms a dense, uniform turf that is resistant to trampling. It should be cut low (2cm); fertilisation may result in a good turf but it cannot endure the shade. It is suitable for sport and ornamental areas; it is also used for fixing embankments, slopes and sandy areas.

Description:
This is a very high-quality variety, which ensures more density and an intense green colour during the warm season. It has also demonstrated excellent resistance to low temperatures during the colder months.
The rhizomes have very short internodes and this adds to the density of the turf which, along with its fine texture, creates an exceptional aesthetic effect.

Golf courses, sports grounds, residential gardens, parks, turf roll production, commercial turf.
